Why swap isn't just nights × rate
Most brokers charge triple swap on one weekday to account for the weekend, since forex markets are closed Saturday and Sunday but positions still accrue interest for those days. This calculator detects how many of your held nights fall on that weekday and weights them 3× accordingly.

Swap rates are set by your broker based on the interest-rate differential between the two currencies, and differ for long vs short positions. This calculator never fabricates a rate — enter the exact figure from your broker's contract specifications.
