Face Symmetry Test
How symmetrical is your face? Upload a clear front-facing photo and our AI measures left-right balance across your eyes, brows, nose, mouth and jaw, giving an overall score and a region-by-region breakdown. For fun and self-insight only.
To test facial symmetry, upload a clear, front-facing face photo. The AI measures left-right balance across facial regions and returns an overall symmetry score with a per-region breakdown.
Heads up: unlike our other tools, this one uploads your photo to our secure server to run AI analysis. Your image is processed for the result and not shared. Avoid uploading photos of people who haven't consented.

How to use Face Symmetry Test
- 1Upload a clear, front-facing face photo (JPEG, PNG or WebP).
- 2Click Analyze symmetry.
- 3See your overall symmetry score and how each facial region scored.
How facial symmetry is measured
The tool detects facial landmarks, finds your face's centerline, and compares the left and right sides across regions like the eyes, brows, nose, mouth and jaw. Smaller left-right differences mean higher symmetry. You get an overall score, a High/Moderate/Low level, and each region's individual score.
Perfect symmetry is rare and not the goal — most faces are slightly asymmetrical, and that's completely normal.
Getting an accurate reading
Face the camera straight on with a neutral expression and even lighting; tilting your head or an angled shot skews the centerline and lowers accuracy. The tool flags photos that aren't front-facing enough.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is an asymmetrical face bad?
No. Virtually every face is slightly asymmetrical — it's normal and often part of what makes a face distinctive. This is a for-fun measurement, not a judgement.
How accurate is this?
It's an estimate from a computer-vision model, meant for entertainment and self-insight — not a medical, legal, or identity tool. Lighting, angle, and photo quality all affect the result, which the tool flags when relevant.
Is my photo uploaded to a server?
Yes — unlike our image and PDF tools which run entirely in your browser, the AI face-analysis tools upload your photo to our secure server to run the model, then return the result. Your image is used for the analysis and not shared. Only upload photos of people who have consented.
