How can I tell my face shape without an app?
Pull your hair back and compare three widths — forehead, cheekbones and jaw — plus your face length. Longer than wide with soft curves is oval; about as wide as long is round; a strong, angular jaw is square; a wider forehead tapering to a narrow chin is heart; cheekbones widest with a narrow forehead and jaw is diamond. The detector measures these same ratios from landmarks, so you don't have to guess.
Why did the result show two face shapes?
Most real faces sit between two categories, so the tool reports a primary shape and the closest secondary one. For styling, follow the primary shape's advice and borrow from the secondary.
How accurate is this?
It's an estimate from a computer-vision model, meant for entertainment and self-insight — not a medical, legal, or identity tool. Lighting, angle, and photo quality all affect the result, which the tool flags when relevant.
Is my photo uploaded to a server?
