LSI Keyword Generator (Related Keywords Finder)

Find the related words and phrases that real searchers pair with your topic — the terms a thorough page naturally includes. Enter a seed keyword to get a ranked list of semantically related terms plus the full list of related searches from Google Autocomplete.

Enter a seed keyword and country. The tool gathers hundreds of real Google Autocomplete searches around your keyword, then counts which other words co-occur with it across those searches. Terms used in many different searches are the ones most closely related to your topic — use them naturally in headings and copy.

Ideas come from Google Autocomplete — real searches people type. Autocomplete doesn't reveal search volume, so we don't show made-up numbers.

The truth about “LSI keywords”

Latent Semantic Indexing is a 1980s information-retrieval technique, and Google has said it doesn't use it — there's no “LSI keyword” ranking factor. What the term is usually used to mean is still genuinely useful: the related words and concepts that a complete answer to a topic naturally contains.

Google's language models understand topics and relationships between concepts. A page about “coffee brewing” that never mentions grind size, water temperature or a French press probably isn't a complete answer. Covering those related concepts helps the page satisfy searchers — which is what actually ranks.

How to use related terms

Treat the list as a topic checklist, not a list of words to insert. If a related term represents a sub-topic your readers care about, cover it with a section or an FAQ. For question ideas, pair this with the Long-Tail Keyword Generator.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Google use LSI keywords?

No. Google has said it doesn't use Latent Semantic Indexing. This tool finds semantically related terms from real searches, which help you cover a topic completely — the useful idea behind the “LSI” label.

How are related terms chosen?

They're words that appear together with your keyword across real Google Autocomplete searches, ranked by how many different searches use them.

Where do the keyword ideas come from? Why no search volume?

They come from Google Autocomplete — the suggestions Google shows as people type, which reflect real, recent searches. Google doesn't publish search volumes through Autocomplete, so instead of showing invented numbers we give you real queries. For volumes, paste the list into Google Keyword Planner or Search Console.

Is this SEO tool free? Do I need to sign up?
